Who we are
Call us a boutique agency, experience designers, a production company, consultants — in today’s media ecosystem, the terminology is fluid. We are creators and fixers who have a vision of the media future and the skills to pull it off. Our founders bring decades of high-level experience in the entertainment, technology, branding and media worlds.
An industry veteran with 30 years’ experience, Scott has been responsible for launching, branding and marketing networks and entertainment properties for years. As Nickelodeon’s Executive VP/Creative Director, he helped build cable's first branded powerhouse. He launched shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer, and entire networks like Nick at Nite, TV Land and Nick Jr. He was integral to the launch of many Nick business extensions and established Creative Lab, an in-house R&D group that produced the first generation of cross-platform media.
Scott has worked as a creative consultant for CSTV: College Sports Television, American Girl’s Virtual World, Scholastic, Spike TV, The Learning Channel and Hasbro. As Creative Director for Oxygen Media, he developed the launch strategies and directed programming, promotion and marketing.
Tinsley’s educational pursuits in both art and technology—long before it was considered a good career move led him to receive the first Ph.D. from the Interactive Cinema group at the MIT Media Lab. He has applied new technologies to create unique entertainment and educational experiences for such clients as Intel, Hewlett-Packard, British Telecom, AT&T, Museum of Science & Industry, Chicago, Boston Museum of Science, The Millennium Dome UK, and SciTech Perth.
Tinsley founded Curious Learning — a nonprofit that brings literacy through technology to undeveloped and educationally underserved communities. He has also helped develop strategy for The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics at MIT.
Tinsley holds a number of patents, which he has used to develop of new media experiences for such partners as, Disney, Warner Brothers, and Discovery Kids. The work for Discovery Kids received an Emmy nomination.
For each project, we assemble from our network of collaborators a team that brings the ideal set of specialized skills.
Our offices are virtual, which means that you’re not paying for rugs or furniture.
It also means we come to you, which makes our clients happy.
Our team is expert at managing this process through organizations populated with rebels, iconoclasts and skeptics.
